Why will Apple's tablet succeed?
Tablets have been around for a long time and the consumer has said “so what.” Why will this version be any different? I know it is probably a better design and interfaces nicely with itunes but I don’t get it.
Forgot to take a picture
We made veal chops (thick) with wild mushrooms and asparagus. Oh yes, we halved a full head of garlic and sauteed it with the chops along with some thick chopped bacon. Very good.
Gary Matthews
is a perfect addition to the Mets: he’s old, slow and can’t hit.
Rachel Alexandra v Zenyatta
Vote for “Horse of the Year” coming up shortly. It is a big east coast west coast thing.

“The FiveThirtyEight Senate Forecasting Model, which correctly predicted the outcome of all 35 Senate races in 2008, now regards Republican Scott Brown as a 74 percent favorite to win the Senate seat in Massachusetts on the basis of new polling from ARG, Research 2000 and InsiderAdvantage which show worsening numbers for Brown’s opponent, Martha Coakley. Cowboys v. Vikings

Big two day street art show in Delray Beach this weekend. We bought a couple 20x20 photographs from the photograher in the link. If you go to his “Galleries” and chose “Pebbles and Shells” we got the first and third photos. In the small world category the photos were taken on the shore of Peconic Bay in the Hamptons and the photographer lives and works in Beacon, NY.

Of course screen space is a premium so goodbye toolbars. Comes with too much junkware (I’m just dying for Norton) and that will all go tomorrow. Turned off the warning about hard drive jiggle since I’m using this...
Dashboard
has changed. No more “tumblarity” but some new news photo.
Predictable
I’m not sure which is more predictable: Mark McGwire admitting he used steroids or Sarah Palin going to Fox News.
Jason Bay - A Met. From The Onion
“NEW YORK—At an introductory press conference at Citi Field Tuesday, Jason Bay donned a blue and orange hat, sighed deeply, and announced that he was, indeed, a New York Met. “Well, here we are,” Bay seemed to say to himself while tightly gripping the lectern and slowly shaking his head. “I guess I’m a Met now. A New York Met. I was on the Red Sox for the past couple...
South Florida Chill
We have had our home in Delray Beach for about 5 years and this week was the first time we ever turned on the heat. It didn’t work. Had a guy come today and found out the thermostat was wired wrong. Think about it - the heat could not ever have worked and someone owned the place for 4 years before us.
