Everything Begins Somewhere

My kids got me involved with tumblr. My first post was June 21, 2008. Blogging has turned out to be very interesting. I particularly like spontaneous posting of photos from my phone. Slowly I am building up people I am following. I'm not very interested in current music, movies or pop culture. I am interested in family, humor,sports, business, politics and the mundane, ridiculous things in life.

Food in the City

Ann and I came into NYC yesterday and are staying at the apartment of friends of ours at the new private residence part of the renovated Plaza Hotel.  Can’t complain.

We had a late lunch yesterday at “Fig and Olive” and it was great.  It was on Lex around 62nd.  Dinner at “Per Lei” (71st and 2nd) was also excellent.  Kate, Julia and Jimmy were with us.  The fact that they all enjoy good food as much as Ann and I do adds to the experience.
